Declared, not verified
Health and pedigree information comes from the owner. CATDOG records it and checks no document at this stage. Every profile says so plainly.

Not a veterinary service
CATDOG draws no medical, genetic or veterinary conclusion. For any health decision, talk to your vet.

Location stays approximate
Profiles show a city and a country, and a distance when it applies. Your exact address is never displayed.

Report and block
Report a profile in a few taps, or block an owner. A blocked owner no longer sees your pets, and you no longer see theirs.

Pause without deleting
Make a pet temporarily unavailable and stop receiving proposals for it, without losing its profile.

Is CATDOG available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. CATDOG is a mobile app for iOS and Android, available from the App Store and Google Play.
Which animals does CATDOG cover?
Dogs and cats. A dog is never proposed to a cat, and two pets of the same sex are never proposed to each other.
How does a match work?
You show interest in a profile, and that interest stays private. If the other owner is interested in yours too, a match is created and a private conversation opens for that pair of pets.
Can I add more than one pet?
Yes. An account can hold several pets, each with its own profile and its own search criteria. Discovery always runs for the pet you select.
Are my contact details visible?
No. Phone number, e-mail address and exact address are never displayed automatically. You are free to share what you want inside a conversation.
Does CATDOG check health or pedigree documents?
No. Everything is declared by the owner and presented as a declaration. CATDOG is not a veterinary service and draws no medical conclusion.
Is CATDOG free?
Creating your account, adding your pets, discovery, filters, interests and matches are free. A membership is what opens private conversations — it changes nothing else, neither your matches nor how visible your pets are.
How do I stop receiving proposals for a pet?
Make the pet temporarily unavailable from its profile. It stays in your account, and you can bring it back whenever you want.
